On March 3, 2009 members of Citizens for a Smoke-free Goodhue County traveled to the State Capitol to meet with our state senator and representatives. We asked them to oppose efforts to weaken our smoke-free law, the Freedom to Breathe Act. |

October 1, 2008 was the one year anniversary of a smoke-free Minnesota. To celebrate, and also give back to the community, volunteers from Citizens for a Smoke-free Goodhue County cleaned up parks in Cannon Falls, Kenyon and Red Wing. See more photos. |

April 1, 2008 was the Six Month Anniversary of a Smoke-Free Minnesota. Celebrations were held in Red Wing, Cannon Falls and Wanamingo. |

October 1, 2007 was the day Minnesota's smoke-free law, known as the Freedom to Breathe Act, took effect. A reception was held in Red Wing to recognize elected officials from Goodhue County who supported the new law. |

January 30, 2007 was the Smoke Free Minnesota Day at the Capitol. Twenty-six members of Citizens for a Smoke-free Goodhue County got up early to catch the bus to the State Capitol. |

During the summer of 2006 we spread the smoke-free message throughout Goodhue County. It was a busy time full of parades and fairs. Thanks to all of our wonderful volunteers for making this possible. |
